Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail XX1 Eagle Medium
$5,999.99 $8,500.00 29% Off
Call it a healthy disrespect for the status quo, but Specialized was getting bored with traditional hardtail designs. So instead of playing along, they opted to turn the cross country world on its head with a bike that's not only the lightest mountain frame they've ever made, it's their lightest frame—period. Introducing the S-Works Epic Hardtail World Cup. To provide the optimal blend of stiffness, crazy light weight, and strength, Specialized constructed the frame from their FACT 12m carbon fiber, and when combined with the XC 29 Geometry, the Epic frame is guaranteed to deliver uncompromising, blistering speed and agile handling come race day—no matter the course. The RockShox SID World Cup 29 with Brain fork provides 90/100mm of efficient travel. It features Brain technology that distinguishes between terrain and rider input in order to maximize your power, while a Brain Fade adjusts the oil flow when not hitting bumps. The one-by drivetrain is controlled by SRAM's venerable XX1 Eagle components to form the ultimate in efficiency and intuitive feel, while also having the added benefit of significant weight savings and minimal required maintenance. SRAM Level Ultimate hydraulic brakes, S-Works carbon components, and a carbon-railed saddle round out this amazing machine that will be primary weapon in your pursuit of speed.

ICCR Cable Routing ICCR provides a clean look and a functional solution for all the different control cable standards on the market. Cable routing is fully internal and designed for full-length cable housing. Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut. SW Dropouts We’ve redesigned all the parts that can give us significant benefits in terms of performance and functionality. The new dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tubular design that allows a simple and lightweight structure. Available for SRAM and Shimano DM derailleurs, this dropout increases stiffness and avoids damage to the frame in case of impacts on the rear derailleur. Axle Tool Working together with DT Swiss, we completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit our frame. Additionally, we introduce a new multifunctional tool integrated into the inner part of the thru-axle itself. This 25T Torx wrench is easy to reach and ready to be used for quick adjustments on the trails. 29-Inch Wheels Improved roll-over is the most noticeable attribute when it comes to 29” wheels. The big wheels are great for rolling over nasty roots and rocky sections, essentially making it easier to ride these conditions. Improved traction is also a key factor with the increased wheel diameter compared to 27.5” wheels as tire contact to the ground is larger. - Scale Carbon HMF Frame - FOX 32 SC Performance 100mm Fork w/RideLoc 3-Position Remote - Shimano XT 12 Speed Drivetrain - Shimano XT Hydraulic Disc Brakes - Syncros Silverton 2.5 TR Wheels - WTB Ranger 29 x 2.25" Kevlar Tires

Specialized Men's Epic Hardtail Comp
Cross country courses are nothing like they used to be. Today's tracks have more in common with trail riding than the pancake flat NORBA courses of yesteryear. For this reason, we threw away the hardtail rulebook and drafted our own chapter to create the Epic Hardtail Comp. We took a revolutionary new frame design and spec'd it specifically for the rigors of racing contemporary XC courses. It's one of the lightest frames we've ever made, tipping the scales around 1175g. And to make it this light, we built the entire frame from our superlative FACT 11m carbon fiber, and then we took some cues from our road bikes. We borrowed the Rider-First Engineered concept that originated with the Tarmac. Now, the frame design applies specificity to every tube size and carbon layup for every frame size. This creates the optimal balance of rigidity, weight, and responsiveness, so every frame, regardless of size, performs just as we intended. We've also tweaked the geometry for more speed and stability by slacking-out the head tube angle, lengthening the top tube, and correcting the seat tube angle. This way, it feels more planted then ever, and frankly, it's stupid fast. We also widened the rear spacing to 12x148mm and included internal split-housing cable routing. For the build, this Epic takes value to new heights with a custom-tuned RockShox Reba RL fork, 1x11 SRAM GX shifting, and fast rolling Roval Control alloy wheels. - By pairing a FACT 11m carbon fiber frame with our XC 29 Geometry, this Epic places a focus on revolutionary tube angles and extremely light overall weight for explosive speed and nimble handling on the race circuit. For good measure, we also gave it 148mm rear spacing and all-new triangulated post-mount brake mounts. - The RockShox Reba RL 29 fork offers up 90/100mm of smooth travel, while an easily accessible compression and rebound adjusts permit you to customize the feel according to the terrain at hand. - One-by 11-speed shifting is provided by a durable SRAM GX component spec.
Specialized Rockhopper Expert 27.5
$1,249.99
Excuse the brag, but we've really outdone ourselves here. Proving that true trail-taming capability doesn't have to come at an intimidating price, the Rockhopper Expert is the culmination of 30 years of redefining the relationship between value and performance. Start with a painstakingly engineered Premium A1 Aluminum frame, add in modern geometry that keeps one eye on efficiency and the other on confident capability, and you have the rock-solid foundation of our best Rockhopper yet. Pair that with a parts list that just doesn't quit (...can we get a shoutout for RockShox's Judy SoloAir fork and Shimano's always-in-charge MT200 hydraulic disc brakes?) and you have a tubeless-ready, SRAM Eagle 1x12-equipped Rockhopper that's absolutely prepared to fly. A heart of gold, the Rockhopper's lightweight yet durable Premium A1 Aluminum frame features butted aluminum tubes in order to keep weight low and strength high, all while providing increased standover clearance, slick internal cable routing, and dropper-post compatibility. With the goal of making sure that the Rockhopper offers both the best fit and best performance for every person, no matter their measure, we've paired each Rockhopper frame size with the optimal wheel size. The result is a Rockhopper to fit every rider and the assurance that every Rockhopper is rolling on the best-handling wheel for its frame size. - A breath of fresh air at this price point—and plenty north of it, RockShox’s Judy SoloAir brings air-sprung sensitivity and performance to the masses with a killer value proposition: more bang, less buck. The TurnKey damper deftly dishes out travel letting you focus on what’s ahead. - Soar up climbs and dive down descents with SRAM's ultra-wide-range SX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain. - Tubeless-ready rims and tires keep your options open and traction on-call.
